Christian Christian
why are you a Christian and yet you fall
Christian Christian
why are you a Christian and have refused to rise
Christian Christian
why are you so divided yet Father Son and Spirit are united
Christian Christian
why do you fight and have refused to reconcile
Christian Christian
you look so white in Church and so black in clubs
Christian Christian
you speak in foreign tongues yet remix vulgar words
Christian Christian
Why scared of the rapture why scared of God
Christian Christian
(whispering)
Have you also plucked from the tree of tribulation
(pause)
RAPTURE RAPTURE CHRISTIAN RAPTURE RAPTURE
Why scared of God why scared of the KingdomInterlude
(The Spirit of God in our heart
he has called us and set us apart
this is what we have to do
what we have to do
He has called us to bring the goodnews to the poor
tell pris’ners that they are pris’ners no more
tell blind people that they can see
and set the downtrodden free
and go tell
everyone
the news that the Kingdom of God has come x 2…
anonymous composer)

Christian
you have been auditioned by the blood of Jesus
and Grace has enrolled you into this drama of salvation
God is the creator, the Spirit is the Director, Jesus is the Dialogue
he, the word, spoken for us
Project your works rehearse the decalogue
let your light shine; the light of redemption

Action Christian, act out the uction
Action Christian, act out Jesus
Action Christian, act out the word
the word of God, the God of the word.

Rehearse the decalogue, rehearse the word
Act out the uction, live life like Jesus.

When on that last day
when corpses rise trumpets blast;
fire and thunder

When on that last day
when children cry, women wail
and man’s senseless savings waste

when on that last day
when one is taken from two
and a group is split too

when on that last day
when heaven’s lock is broken
and judgement books open

On that joyful day
On that troubled day
We shall find Grace
when naked we stand

On that joyful troubled day
Mercy for us shall say “I’m not gonna let you go”
when our lives are guaged

On that joyful day, troubled day
before the throne of Justice
and shall obtain mercy.
