Till When? | a poem by Oluwafemi Babasola

My kneels are hurting
they painfully bleed
my eyes lead-heavy
with tears carrying regret
the tear wells drying
running out of fluid

My soul craves for your grace
thirsts for our reunion
seeks restoration
my restoration

When will I see your smile again?
when will you offer me pardon?
till when will my heart keep fighting
till when will my hope yet stay
’cause I am growing weak and faint

When
tell me—
when will this be over?
when will this fight for love be over?
