Esther Mbabazi is a self-taught Ugandan photographer with roots in Kampala. She has worked with different organizations in Kampala; and has also covered different events, captured stunning landscapes and engaged storytelling photography a great deal. She is presently focusing more on documentary photography and photo-journalism in her career.
The Ugandan Press Photo Award finalist is also much a lover of life who believes everyone has a story to tell – an essential background to mostly all her photography works.
Esther’s works have been displayed in a solo exhibition in Eastern Uganda and have participated in joint exhibitions like at the Bayimba International Festival of the Arts in Kampala and Naam Festival in Kenya, among others. Her works have also been published in Sweden-based magazine Kalangu and the Eoroticism and Intimacy exhibition catalogue.
